【略歴】
1980年生。株式会社アップパフォーマ、創設者・代表取締役。9歳でアマチュア無線電話級を取得、Apple PowerBook 100 と HyperTalk でのプログラミングにはじめて触れる。中高で BASIC、perl など。しかし、大学卒業後は大手アパレルに入社し、関東、沖縄、パリにて店長として勤務。帰阪後、Founder Institute に参加。Ruby、回路・基板設計、3Dモデリングなどを行いながら、2014年に同社を設立しスタートアップ。

Shuhei Yamada was born in 1980 , is the founder and CEO of Up performa Co.,Ltd. When he was 9 years old, he got an amateur fourth-class radio operator licensing in Japan and programmed with Apple PowerBook and HyperTalk. During his school days he also touched BASIC, perl and "Internet". However, he worked for a big Japanese apparel clothing company at Tokyo, Okinawa and Paris as a store Manager. After that, he participated in Founder Institute. Up performa was established in 2014 as start-up company and he worked on it to programe Ruby, make circuit and board design, do 3D modeling.

【 略歴】
Originally from Chicago. Graduated from Yale University and Harvard Business School. Early career in the finance industry; after business school, entered the IT industry in Silicon Valley with Palm, Inc. Led Palm's Asia business development as Vice President of the Asia-Pacific business unit. Founded MapMotion in 2004 in Tokyo. A total of 18 years living in Japan.

米国シカゴ出身。イェール大学卒業。金融機関での勤務を経た後、ハーバード・ビジネス・スクールに入学、1997年にMBA取得。卒業後シリコンバレーにてIT業界の米国パーム社に入社。2000年からパーム社のアジア太平洋担当VP兼日本法人社長。2004年に東京でMapMotion株式会社を設立。日本在住が18年以上にわたる。

【概要】
MapMotionは、GPSや位置情報関連のモバイルアプリ開発を行っている東京のベンチャー企業です。今回は、アプリ開発者やマーケティング担当者が利用できる新サービス、「Geocore」（ジオコア）を紹介します。これは、新たに位置情報関連アプリを展開したい開発者が、GeocoreのAPIやクラウド型インフラを利用できるサービスです。ユーザ移動分析やエリアターゲットのプッシュ通知を行いたいマーケティング担当者が、GeotrackやGeopushのクラウド型サービスを利用することで、新たなセグメンテーション解析やユーザエンゲージメントを可能にします。

MapMotion is a Tokyo based venture that develops GPS and location-related mobile apps. In this seminar, MapMotion will introduce its new business unit, Geocore, that targets app developers and marketers. The Geocore Cloud offers APIs and backend infrastructure for the rapid development of new location-focused mobile apps. The Geotrack and Geopush SDKs and cloud services offer marketers new ways to segment and geo-target their customers.
