INITIAL Adds English Translation Tool, Bringing Japanese Startup Information to the Global Market

As of September 6, 2022, startup information platform INITIAL has added an English translation tool for its service. This tool aims to facilitate global communication and promote decision-making that transcends language barriers.

Until now, the INITIAL service had only been provided in Japanese, but with the addition of this translation tool, information on startups and investors in Japan can now be viewed in English. Going forward, we aim to include support for detailed keyword searches and the download of documents in English.

Support for this tool is provided by the INITIAL Customer Success Team in both English and Japanese.

Background

Interest in Japanese startups from foreign investors continues to grow, and INITIAL has been receiving inquiries requesting an English language version of the service, particularly from Japanese companies with overseas offices and those with non-Japanese employees. By implementing this translation tool, we aim to simplify and accelerate internal and external communication between business professionals both in Japan and overseas.

Going forward, INITIAL will continue to provide data and stories on the “now” of startups, simplifying the process of gathering startup information and aiding in the development of future pioneers of business.
